Hello and thank you for your interest in this project, which is part of a collaboration between the Bernhard Palsson Systems Biology Research Group and the UCSD Bioengineering Senior Design class.
Our senior project was an approach at modeling erythrocyte metabolism, in order to improve clinical outcomes of blood transfusions. This website should give you a comphrensive overview of the project, including details elucidating its clinical relevance, construction, results, and future directions.
Before you start exploring, we would like to formally acknowledge help of Dr. Daniel Zielinski, Dr. Aarash Bordbar, Anand Sastry and Dr. Bernhard Palsson as their help was instrumental in the completion of this project.
